La Beauté Training Academy is built inside a successful, real working salon in Swindon - giving students the opportunity to learn hairdressing skills in a professional environment.
We are passionate about developing the next generation of hair professionals. Founded by industry professionals who understand the real demands of salon life, our private hairdressing courses are designed to bridge the gap between traditional college learning and real-world experience.
We specialise in NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 hairdressing courses in Swindon, delivered in small, supportive groups inside our working salon.

Meet the educator
Hi, I’m Carly, salon owner and founder of La Beauté Training Academy.
With nearly 20 years in the hair industry and 14 years running my own salon, I’ve seen first-hand what it really takes to build a successful career behind the chair.
From starting out myself, to building and running my own salon for the past 14 years, I’ve experienced every stage of this industry… the nerves, the self-doubt, the breakthroughs, and the confidence that comes from finally feeling good behind the chair.
And that’s exactly why I created this academy.
I saw talented, passionate people struggling to get into the industry…
Struggling to secure apprenticeships…
Struggling to build confidence…
And often leaving training still not feeling “ready”.
I knew there had to be a better way.
I’ve been training apprentices and mentoring stylists since 2012, and it’s always been the part of my job I love most. There’s nothing better than seeing someone go from a nervous beginner to a confident, fully booked, empowered stylist.
Many of my apprentices have gone on to become busy senior stylists, salon managers and even run their own businesses - which is so rewarding to see!
With apprenticeships becoming harder to secure, I wanted to make high-quality, salon-standard training accessible to anyone with a genuine passion for hair.
At La Beauté Training Academy, it’s not just about passing a qualification... it’s about building real confidence, real skills and a real future in the industry.
I’m incredibly passionate about supporting the next generation of stylists, as well as those looking to upskill, rebuild confidence or take the next step in their career.
I’m so proud to now offer nationally recognised NVQ qualifications and I genuinley can’t wait to be a part of your journey.
